Student Ministries
Student Ministries are currently 'Under Construction'. We are looking for a Youth
Director and going through changes in our student ministries. In the interim we
are pleased to have experienced leaders, Patrick and Miki filling the position with
hopes of finding a permanent Youth Director before summer. Please refer to the church
calendar or our city page (BPPC.ontheccity.org Youth Group) for regularly updated
and special events or call Miki or Patrick via the church office for more information,
206.243.2600. The following are weekly events:
The Gathering: Jr. & Sr. high students meet together on Sunday morning
for worship and discipleship during the Sunday school hour in room 520 on the 500
level. The morning includes worship, prayer, fellowship and digging deep into God’s
Word together where the students are challenged to grow in their faith and toward
Spiritual maturity.
Junior High Youth Group: 7th & 8th Grade Junior High students meet on
Sunday evenings in the Multipurpose Room at 6:30 p.m. for fun and games, then ‘break
out’ into small groups separated by age and gender for Bible Study, prayer and accountability.
Each group is led by qualified adult volunteers who have gone through a Risk Management
class and a State Patrol background check.
Senior High Youth Group: 9th through 12th Grade: Senior High students meet
on Sunday evenings in the Youth room at 6:30 p.m. We are intentional and strategic
in our efforts to encourage them to reach out to their unchurched friends and our
community. A variety of activities and events are scheduled to help the students
grow in faith and make it their own, with the goal of equipping them to move forward.
Please refer to the church calendar for upcoming events and locations.
Break Out Groups: Senior high students are divided by age and gender and
placed in small group Bible Study/accountability groups. It is in these groups where
they bond while praying for one another, study the Scriptures and fun activities.
The small group atmosphere allows them the freedom to ask questions, share concerns
and be ‘real’ with each other. They remain in these groups throughout high school.
Godly, qualified adults lead each group and have completed a Risk Management class
and a State Patrol background check.
